SIMI VALLEY (MIS)ADVENTURE

In June of 2019, I packed my car with all my worldly possessions and drove from Danville to Simi valley seeking new trails and life.

I lived there for an year, working at the Simi Valley outpatient clinic. I never got to like Simi Valley. I was happy to leave it behind me after an year.

Simi Valley, though in Ventura county, is pretty close to LA. The nearest airport is Hollywood (Burbank). I used to tell my out of town friends that i was in Hollywood.

Simi Valley is known (only)for two things

  1. Ronald Reagan presidential library with Air force and marine one. And of course Ronnie and Nancy are buried here.
  2. 2. Site of the infamous Rodney King trial.

I used to drive to all the local beaches from Santa Barbara to Malibu Ventura, Oxnard and Santa Monica. To Huntington beach and Newport beach

Last few months in COVID19 quarantine did not help my desire to stick it out in SoCal!
